Dear
TEMPO Parents, |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Congratulations!
With one General Membership meeting under our belt this year we
have already accomplished a lot. Though the subject was a bit
dry and the presentation admittedly a little long-winded, we have
passed both a budget and completely rewritten Bylaws. As part
of the budget we are now approved to purchase a new trailer that
is sorely needed. We also added a new member of the TEMPO Executive
Board from the ranks of our freshman parents!
I absolutely believe we have set ourselves up for a very successful
season.

| Returning parents are no doubt happy to see
the pledged share reduced for the second year in a row due
to some very conservative fiscal management. Here is a pictorial
representation of what your contributions and fundraising
efforts will support this year. If you have further questions
about the budget or fair share contributions, please let me
know. |

Along with email, websites, and other written media, General Membership
meetings are a very important form of communication from the Band
Director and the Executive Board. They are also a great way for
you to communicate back to us. If you missed the last one, please
check the schedule for the next. As mentioned, we have a new schedule
of meetings. General Membership meetings are scheduled quarterly
but as of this year, any Active Member (parent or guardian of an
enrolled Band, Color Guard, or Drumline student) may attend the
Executive Board meetings held monthly.
I look forward to seeing you at competitions, shows, and other events. |
