Notes from the Chaperone Coordinator sent in email February
14th
Dear Families,
Our Music to Midnight Fundraiser is taking place this Saturday,
February 18th. The students in band and guard will practice until
midnight, then have a sleepover in the band room. In order to
ensure safety, we need adult supervision for this event. Mrs.
Pate has requested that there be one male and one female chaperone
for this event between the hours of 12 midnight to 8am. Each person
could sign up to do a two hour shift (see below). Note that if
we don't get enough chaperones we won't be able to hold this event,
and the students really look forward to it. So please consider
donating your time if available. Thanks in advance for your participation.
Shifts:
12 midnight to 2am
2am to 4am
4am to 6am
6am to 8am - need one male, Mrs. Pate will be the other.

Other snacky-breakfasty items
(please no pancake batter or raw eggs -- we're not doing that kind of
breakfast)

Donate an Instrument
TEMPO accepts donations
of gently used band and orchestral instruments.
If the instrument is not something we can use today, we will make sure
it gets to a
local band or orchestra in need. We cannot accept pianos or organs.
To donate, please send your well-packaged instrument to
TEMPO

Santee, CA 92072
Please include your name, address, phone number and e-mail address
inside the package. A tax letter will be sent within 8 weeks of receiving
the instrument.
We also always like to know the history of the instrument and how you
decided
to donate it to us. If you have any questions, please email
us.
