TEMPO
(Totally Excellent Music Parent's Organization) is a partnership
between the parents and
family members of the West Hills High School “Blue and Black Brigade”
Band, Color Guard and
Drumline students. While the school and district provide a classroom,
instruments, and transportation,
much of what makes the program successful is dependent upon the financial
support and
volunteer efforts provided by TEMPO family members.
TEMPO's mission is to support the activities
of the West Hills High School
Blue & Black Brigade - band, guard and drumline - through
volunteerism, fundraising, and community outreach.

TEMPO is governed
by an elected board of volunteer directors, with meetings
held monthly.
Attendance at TEMPO Executive Board Meetings is open to all
TEMPO members. General
membership meetings will also be scheduled by the band director
throughout the year. This is
an opportunity for her to provide detailed information about upcoming
events and activities. Parent
attendance and participation at General membership meetings is strongly
recommended.
