TEMPO is a partnership between parents and family members of the West Hills High School "Blue and Black Brigade" Band, Color Guard and Drum Line students.  TEMPO's mission is to support the band, color guard and drum line activities through volunteerism, fundraising and community outreach.  TEMPO is an acronym for Totally Excellent Music Parent Organization.  While the school and district provide a classroom, instruments and transportation, much of what makes the program successful is dependent upon the financial support and volunteer efforts provided by TEMPO family members.

The music program at West Hills High School  needs our  help because of state and local budget cuts.  TEMPO members raise funds and volunteer to help in several ways. The staff and the kids all appreciate the hours of work we provide. AND IT'S FUN!

If you are a Band or Color Guard parent, please plan to attend our monthly meetings held at the WHHS band room. (See website page "MTG Minutes & Schedule")  We discuss the status of the program, upcoming events, where help is needed and what we can do for our kids and the program. Many parents become life-long friends through their participation in the organization. But, most importantly, we create lasting memories for our kids and the friendships they made in WHHS music program.
